  Ashley's 14 months old developments

A quite late monthly developments milestones of Ashley.

Well, how time flies... My girl already turned 14 months old and of course her behavior changed. She started testing my patience by curious about everything around her and doesn't want anyone to stop her from checking things out. And most of the time the things that i don't want her to do exactly the things she wants to do. Yea, she started to knows 'what she wants'. Phew...

• Holds out arm or leg to help you dress her

• Uses two words skillfully (e.g., "hi" and "bye")

• Matches lids with appropriate containers

• Puts her fingers to her mouth and says "shhh"

• Becomes attached to a soft toy or other object

• Learns the correct way to use common objects (e.g., the telephone, computer, cd player )

• Dances to music

• Shows signs of toilet training readiness ( says "per" and presses her diaper when pee pee or bowel movement )

• Turns the pages of a book


• Gets finicky about food


• Enjoys pretend games


• Feeds doll


• Pushes and pulls toys

• Adopts "yea" , "there" , "go" as her favorite word

• Fold cloths

• Has temper tantrums when frustrated

• Discovers the joy of climbing

• Follows two-step requests (e.g., "Get your doll and bring it here")

• Understands opposites (e.g., long vs. short)

• Cruising

• insert coins into coin bank

• says thanks with nodded her head

• twist her wrist to shows "no more"

• loves to cheers with you when drinking with her water bottle
