  Vaccination

Ashley refused to drink formula milk again! She seems don like it at all..! I'd have make 4oz for her yesterday afternoon when she's real hungry but she refuses to take it. WASTED! I think i'll try again in a week or so. I don't want to be pushy. In fact I've enough breast milk to supply but my baobei only took one side of it, so i can't content her. Also, I'm planning to give her breastfed exclusively for a year. 7months to go....

Today 2:30pm Baobei consulted Dr. Eric @ TDMC, for de Hepatitis B injection. Before de doctor inject, i used to turn away cuz i really scared to c doctor inject my baobei...it hurts ! Daddy will hold her hands tight while de doctor injects her left tight. Baobei cried of pain the first time after the many visits. She stopped to cry when i cuddle her to give her my love and care. Today Ashley's weight 6.2kg (5.7kg previously) , height 65.5cm (62cm previously), head circumference 41.5cm (40cm previously). Not bad lar, doctor commented that she is normal and the readings are within average.

Then Dr. Eric recommended de PNEUMOCOCCAL vaccination for Ashley 2months later. The vaccination will cost RM300. What is Pneumococcal Disease? Pneumococcal disease are infections caused by the bacterium Streptococcus pneumoniae, also known as pneumococcus. It is a group of serious infection that occurs most commonly in children, particularly those under 2yrs of age. The pneumococcus bug can cause meningitis (infection of the lung), bacteriaemia (blood infection), as well as otitis media (infection in the middle ear). So, of cuz we gonna give her the BEST n let her do this immunity 2months later. But hopefully she wont cry again.

4:30pm We visited the Parenthood Expo2007 @ MidValley, together with Yuki & son, LerLer. Not much exhibits of interest. Congested wit visitors with baby tramps. Thereafter v adjourned for high-tea @ Dome. Ashley having a nice time there playing wit LerLer. At one instance when playing, Ashley yelled at LerLer throwing her 'baby language' at him. Its really funny! keke... After tea, v proceeded to the Cold Storage @ Curve. Bought organic foods for baby. By then, after dinner, v went home at 10pm...phew! a 5 hour shopping trip (@_@)
